Bullies 2 the Rescue is a volunteer-driven, family-focused organization dedicated to giving English Bulldogs the second chance they deserve. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we rely solely on donations, community support, and the incredible commitment of our volunteers to provide lifesaving care to every bulldog that enters our program.
Our mission is simple:
1. Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of every English Bulldog we rescue.
2. Educate the public on proper bulldog care to help prevent neglect, mistreatment, and unnecessary surrender.
We take in English Bulldogs who are sick, neglected, abused, injured, or in need of rehoming due to life changes. For families facing the difficult decision of surrendering a beloved pet, we offer a compassionate, safe alternative to overcrowded shelters.
Since our founding, Bullies 2 the Rescue has saved more than 700 English Bulldogs, with 50–70 dogs in foster care at any given time.
We rescue bulldogs regardless of medical condition, and the majority of our dogs receive extensive veterinary care—our largest ongoing expense, even with rescue discounts. Every dog is placed in a loving foster home or at our private shelter, Meat and Tater's Wiggle Ranch (closed to visitors), where they receive individualized care, rehabilitation, and temperament evaluation.
After a minimum two-week foster period, our foster families provide valuable insight to ensure each dog is matched with the most suitable and committed “furever” home.
Bullies 2 the Rescue is an application-only rescue. English Bulldogs are a high-maintenance breed that requires experienced, dedicated ownership. We work closely with approved adopters to ensure they fully understand the responsibilities, expenses, and lifelong care their new companion will require.
Our goal is always a lasting match—one that keeps bulldogs safe, loved, and medically supported for the rest of their lives.
